Day 47- Mosquito Time-lapse (Animation in Blender)

masquito

This is late, I know. It was just supposed to be a simple time-lapse of me, creating, rigging and animating a character, but each step took like half an hour. And I had to animate the mosquito twice, because blender crashed the first time and I hadn’t saved the animation. The second time, I saved every other second (exaggeration), but every time I tried to render the animation, Blender would crash. So, yeah. It was quite an adventure. You can go to the end to see the result.
Anyway, hope you like the time-lapse.

Day 44- Flying Bison

Flying Bison

*gasp!* *weez!* I’m not sure how many hours this one took me, but I am almost certain that it was more than two. I had fun with a bunch of new brushes and used the “mesh tool” a ton, which I learned how to use from a Illustrator book I have.

A while ago, I had sketched a pic of a bunch of flying bison in the sky with people and stuff riding on top of their backs. I wasn’t really happy with the result, but the idea still seemed interesting to me. This is my second attempt.

Don’t ask how the fishing pole is holding up a whale… after all, there is a flying bison.

Day 43- Refugio

Refugio

All out random for this character. I’m not even sure what’s going on here, but I just wanted to make a random, abstract character. I didn’t try any new style, just the usual. You’ll notice his brain is actually a nose if you look close enough. As of the name, that was just a random name generator I found. It gave me a list of ten names which I set to rare male names. Fun.
