Here is some more random sketches, and a logo I did for a Minecraft server. I also completed the animated trailer for the server, it has not been released yet.
I decided to try putting a textured background on a bottom layer before sketching, and I really liked it. Gives the sketch a little texture, and lets me add white highlights to the sketches.
The Silhouette (which I spelled wrong) is basically me just taking a brush and scribbling around, then sketching over it. I’m not sure I’m too happy with the finished drawing, but I do like some of the designs on it.
I made a logo for my Interstellar Marines squad, using a new technique that I created for drawing fur in vector form. The hilarious part is that the original export ended up being 3073 x 3073 Pixels, and I found out later that it had to be a max size of 3072 x 3072… 1 pixel off. Must be a sign.

I wanted to have a different header other than the Minecraft ones I had before. So I made this and applied it as the header. I will need to make more headers in the future, because I decided not to use the Minecraft one at all any more.
I have decided upon a new logo for myself and my site. Logo number 2! After much contemplation (about two minutes of staring off into space), I decided to use the second logo, with the split profile of me and the Jumping Monkey character. I chose this because it is very similar to my first logo, but still using my favorite mascot that I first created when starting the site.
And yes, for those of you whose noticed, it does resemble the Rhett and Link logo
I did not do this purposely, in fact, at first I meant to have the front of our faces split, but I later realized that not only would this be twice as difficult as doing the sides, but it wold stray from the original Jumping Monkey logo. I did, however, use the collar at the bottom of their necks as with Rhett and Link.
As for the reason I changed the logo, well, there are several.
The old logo said “Jumo”, which I try not to use anymore since I changed my site address.
The old on was a little stale.
I had been wanting a cooler “monkey” logo for a while
And oddly, my main reason was that I had just gotten a 30 day trial for Adobe Illustrator and wanted to try it out. The other new logo I made was the first thing I have ever made with Illustrator, I had never used a vector based program before, so I had to watch a tutorial. Next thing I knew I was tracing my first logo with the pen tool and BANG! Insta-logo!

Hey guys. Need some advice. I have recently created two different new logos for me and my site. I need help deciding whether to keep the one I have, or go with one of the new ones. Please vote for one in the comments.
